Wow, its been a while!! Sooooooooo we managed to get our second year visas ... WOOP!! ... which meant bye bye to the Roadhouse and HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO roadtrip. It was good to be back on the road again and we met this Ozzie guy who was kind enough to take us from Darwin to Adelaide and all the bits in between (Litchfield, Kakadu, Alice Springs, Uluru (big red rock), Coober Pedy). From there we travelled to Melbourne and spent a week there, was hard to get used to the change in temperature so we decided to go somewhere even colder ... Tasmania. We stayed there for a few weeks looking for work but nothing came up and we were running short of cash so we rang up our beloved bosses at Coral Bay who were more than happy to take us back as we are such good workers *coughs* so here we are and we cant upload any pictures to go with this as the connection is so crap so go to facebook for now.
Bye for now

We left Fitzroy Crossing
Stress, a shit boss, boredom, ... made us leave Fitzroy Crossing and the money couldn't make us stay. Thanks Greyhound for getting us to Kunanarra. We stayed in a backpackershostel for a week, did some days of sandalwoodpruning and finally found a job in a roadhouse 1,5 hour drive from Kun. We'll work there for some months and then apply for our second visa ... because we LOVE Australia (because it's easy to make money)!

Fitzroy Crossing (is an elephant meeting place)
We arrived in Fitzroy in the middle of the night and were escorted to our new accomodation by the Police ... nice eh? So we are now working 7 days a week, over 60 hours a week in the supermarket and the post office which is very TIRING!!! But we are thinking of the money as we will earn a heap to continue our travels with ... yippee!!
A quick summary on Fitzroy ........ IT HAS NOTHING THERE !!! And Im not kidding, a supermarket, a post office and a greasy takeaway ... thats it! But we are near the river which we can swim in but have to watch out for crocs ... EEK!!!

Broome
We arrived at Broome airport and were soooooooo happy to feel the sun on our backs, felt like being back in Coral Bay (awww Coral Bay), we managed to get ourselves into a backpackers (everywhere was soooooo booked up for no reason other than its high season) and went out to see the sights of Broome. They have camel rides along Cable Beach (GORGEOUS BEACH) and we went to the outdoor cinema and got attacked midway through the film by a virgin plane coming into land. We loved the place so much, we were tempted to stay here so applied for work which looks like its easy to get but accomodation was a problem so as originally planned, we are onwards to Fitzroy Crossing tonight on the Greyhound (booooo). Later dudes.

The East Coast (sucks)
We finally arrived in Cairns and after a few days of luxury at the Il Palazzo, we decided to slum it in a rented Ford Falcon (with no drivers license *sniggers*), sleeping in the car saved us money on accomodation which was a bonus! We made pit stops at Mission Beach, The Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island and not forgetting Australia Zoo and some coooool theme parks (how touristy are we huh?). We finished off our East coast road trip with a week in Brisbane staying with a lovely family and managed to sort ourselves out work in the Kimberleys in a little place called Fitzroy Crossing, we head there tomorrow via Broome ... woop!
The Road Trip....
The night before we were due to leave Coral Bay, it decided to rain and that left us STUCK as it blocked the main road, we wanted out dudes, it had been 3 months of isolation from the real world. So we decided to get a plane from Exmouth down to Perth so we could meet our connecting flight to Cairns.

Once upon a time
It all started long, long ago in a country far, far away. Somewhere over the rainbow there was a little town called Coral Bay and it is here that Jenny and Pieter met whilst they were working as housekeepers. They worked there for about 2 months and decided to leave the West Coast of Australia for a roadtrip at the East Coast.
